Neck, lateral view, with the thoracic limb abducted to expose the brachial plexus and vessels that runs to the limb. The axillobrachial v. (1) joins the brachial v. to form the axillary v. (2). The omobrachial v. (3) and cephalic v. (4) join the external jugular v. (5). Notice the axillary lymph node (6), which is a landmark for the lateral thoracic vessels and n. which run past it. Pectoral nn. and external thoracic vessels (7) supply pectoral muscles (8).

Notice also the common carotid a. (9), vagosympathetic trunk (10), and recurrent laryngeal n. (11) situated beside the trachea (12).
