Cat dissection exposing the vaginal ring (1), the site where the vaginal process originates as an out-pocket of peritoneum. The abdominal wall is reflected caudally. Elevated by a probe, the ductus deferens (2) with the mesoductus deferens (3) and testicular vessels (4) with mesorchium (5) appear to enter the vaginal ring. (The vaginal ring is actually empty because it is the beginning of the empty vaginal process.)

Identify the ureter (6), urethra (7), urinary bladder (8), caudal deep epigastric vessels (9), and femoral vessels (10) in the femoral triangle.
