Neurohistology Lab Objectives:
A. Identify neurons, astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, and ependymal cells in the CNS.
B. In the PNS, identify axons, myelin, and lemmocytes associated with nerves and ganglia.
C. In the CNS, distinquish white matter (concentrations of myelinated axons) from
gray matter (concentrations of neuronal cell bodies).
D. Be able to identify dura mater, arachnoid, and pia mater; also, subarachnoid space.
E. Be able to define the following terms:
