Purpose: This web site focuses on veterinary neurobiology concepts, employing self-assessment to evaluate student understanding. The web site gives students an opportunity to clarify their conceptual knowledge and acquire reassurance as they confirm their conceptual understanding.

Instructions: Select one of the above neurobiology categories. A series of query screens per category will be presented randomly. Each query screen consists of a centrally placed statement surrounded by four randomly positioned phrases that are either true or false regarding the central statement. After choosing True/False per phrase (or not), click the Show Answer button to view your answer success and see a conceptual explanation. When the Next Screen button is clicked, a new screen will be presented via random selection from an available pool of screen images. If you no longer wish to view a particular screen image (e.g., because you know the answers), use the Delete Screen button to eliminate it and display a different screen from the available pool. (Note: The last remaining screen in the pool cannot be deleted.)
