This web site archives video-clips of selected patients of the Veterinary Medical Center at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. The veterinary patients exhibited either neurology disorders or normal responses during a clinical neurology exam. The video-clips are identified by case number and are intended for use by faculty and students.

Video-clips are either 320 x 240 or 640 x 480 pixel dimensions. The latter size is provided in case it is needed for classroom projection. Individual video-clips may be viewed via video streaming or they may be downloaded to your local hard disk for viewing.

Streamed video files cannot be saved. Downloaded files can be saved to your hard disk. If your browser does not save video files directly, then have it display source code and follow intructions provided in the note at the top. Video clips are .mov files designed for use with a QuickTime player or browser plug-in (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/products/qt/).

These video-clips are intended to enhance neurology instruction at various stages of the veterinary curriculum, from basic sciences to clinical rotations. Particular video-clips have been further edited and packaged into learning units appropriate for particular courses. (Learning units for courses are not distributed through this web site.)

This project has been undertaken by Drs. R. M. Hardy (), A. McVey (), and T.F. Fletcher () from the College of Veterinary Medicne. It was sponsored by a Techonolgy Enhanced Learning Grant from the University of Minnesota.
